02.05.2014 Baker’s Dozen: Twitterview – Account Executive Kate Anderson
The rules are simple. 13 questions. 140 characters to respond. Up this month is Account Executive Kate Anderson.

Bio: @katethecrab – Vodka queen in an existential crisis… I’ve even started to drink wine recently. I tweet about politics, feminism, and occasionally my bodily fluids.

Best thing about your job?: The people, the Macs and the cake. The rumours are true – we eat more cake than you could ever imagine.

Worst thing about your job?: Signing for everybody’s weird and wonderful Amazon deliveries.

Your desert island disc?: This is hard, but I’d have to say Frank by Amy Winehouse, which I was lucky enough to see performed live at Glastonbury 2008.

Your desert island book?: The Golden Notebook by Doris Lessing. A classic written by an inspiring woman.

What’s your free time treat?: Reading books and cooking.

Favourite place?: I’m from Southport but I love living in Cardiff – it is an interesting combination of being a capital city but also being quite small.

Pet hate?: Jason Derulo singing his own name at the start of his songs.

What makes you smile?: My dog and how stupid he is.

Words of wisdom?: ‘Life is what you make of it’ – pertinent words voiced many times throughout my childhood by my mum.

Favourite place to eat?: It’s got to be Nando’s. I know, I know, but they’ve released an app which means my phone has my loyalty points on. Absolute game changer.

Guilty pleasure?: Fake tan and listening to the sometimes misogynist but always interesting lyrics of Drake.

A secret you don’t mind sharing?: When I was young and naive I wanted to be a taxi driver as I thought that would be the only way I could live my passion for maps.

What couldn’t you live without?: I couldn’t live without my phone. It’s an invaluable extension of my brain that is able to tweet.
