12.10.2016 Bethan Lewis promoted to communications director

We are proud to announce that Bethan Lewis has been promoted to the role of communications director.

Bethan has worked at Brighter Comms for two years and was most recently our senior communications manager.

Her new position will see her play a more prominent role in the strategic direction of client work and the agency itself.

This will include spearheading best practice in integrating digital techniques into all client work, while remaining hands-on and client facing.

Bethan has a wealth of experience working with brands including Subway, B&Q, John Lewis and Cardiff Bus.

She currently leads a team of communications professionals delivering support to clients across a range of sectors, including Brecon Carreg mineral water, Caldicot-based Pro Steel Engineering and the Pobl Group.

Bethan was recently shortlisted in the Outstanding Young Communicator of the Year category at the 2016 Wales Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) Pride AwardsHer work with Brecon Carreg on a successful campaign to boost sales of its Kids Pack product was also shortlisted in the Consumer Relations Campaign category. 

Originally from North Wales, Bethan graduated with a degree in communication and marketing from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in the US while on a four-year tennis scholarship.
