Making a name for Connect Assist


A communications and digital campaign to increase Connect Assist’s digital and brand profile within the third, charity and public sectors. The social business sought a PR strategy that positioned its chief executive as an expert within the provision of charity contact centre services, and specifically promoted the benefits of digital service delivery to charities and public sector organisations, increasing brand awareness and lead generation.


We developed a PR strategy, suitable for multiple communications platforms which included:

Producing feature articles on behalf of Connect Assist’s chief executive – offering advice to charities and public sector on the use of digital contact services, demonstrating thought leadership.

Positioning key news releases within relevant trade and national business titles, celebrating Connect Assist’s work with its customers, providing real-life examples of the organisations it helps.

Writing regular, topical blogs for Connect Assist’s website on behalf of the company’s chief executive – allowing him to demonstrate expertise beyond service provision, building his reputation in the charity sector.

Project managing the re-design and content refresh of Connect Assist’s website to engage interested parties further.

Social media consultancy – boosting engagement with customers, interested organisations and increasing visits to website.

Increase in visits to the website: Average monthly unique visitors increased by 97% between 2012 and 2013, from 1,102 to 2,164 visits.

Increased visits to blog: Visitors to blog articles increased by over 300%, from an average of 33 visits in July – September 2012, up to 111 visits in the same period of 2013.
